Monogram ideas

Monograms! Eeek, I L.O.V.E monograms! Another thing I L.O.V.E, Flemish Script! haha, is it dorky to love a font? Well, I've found that a lot of companies use this font for monograming things, which is amazing! So, I am starting to conceptualize what we're going to do as our theme/monogram that is seen in all of the details. Look at the M on our napkins in the post below. I will probably tweak it some for various items, like maybe include our names and date. BUT, I love a classic, elegant last name monogram. :)
Some monogram ideas:

Its all in the details! :)

Hey everyone! Sorry I haven't posted in a while... wedding planning has been on the back burner for the last little while. Well, I'm BACK! So, we got our napkins that I ordered from theknot.com shop this week! They are super cute and I think that my pink/silver color scheme is going to work out perfectly!!! We got beverage napkins that say "Eat, Drink and be Married" and our names and others that have a monogram "M" on them! Matching matches (hehe) will be coming in soon!

Favor Idea

So, as I see things, I'm going to be posting them on here to kind of keep track of all of my ideas.

Well, a couple of months ago, I stumbled onto this website (www.truffletrolley.com) for boxed chocolate truffles... and I think they sound amazing! I just love the idea of a little box with a bow at each place setting :)

They seem to be priced really well! They make the chocolate, package them in boxes, tie them up with ribbon and attach tags.... eeeek. How easy is that! Plus, they will ship you a sampler of the chocolates to taste and pick out your favorite flavors. mmmm

All of the different flavors!

"Formal Double" or "Traditional Double" for $1.65 each

"Formal Triple" for $1.98 each

Planning Update!!

So much has been going on lately! I started working at Duke this past Monday and we've had lots and lots of wedding related appointments with vendors.

We're meeting with photographers now... just trying to narrow it down and make a decision.

On Wednesday, we met with Lyn from Fresh Affairs in Raleigh.... all I have to say is, wow! I am soooo excited to see what he comes up with. I told him about my love for peonies and I think we were very much on the same wavelength in terms of design. Yay!
