On Friday night, we had our rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. The rehearsal went fairly smoothly. We went through the processional, ceremony and recessional twice and everyone seemed fairly comfortable about what they needed to do the next day.
After the rehearsal, we headed to downtown Raleigh for our Rehearsal Dinner at 518 West Cafe. Guests chose their soup or salad and main course selections from a menu that we created for the dinner. For dessert, we had almond pound cake with vanilla buttercream icing. The Groom's Cake was a surprise for Kevin and was in the shape of the Old Well of his alma mater, UNC-Chapel Hill.
